PRIORITY STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE
Contribute to the digital transformation of the international maritime economy, in particular by facilitating the deployment of instruments to support connectivity, communication, information and decision-making, as well as transportation intelligence systems maritime transport of goods and people, allowing the use of new devices in maritime corridors that are greener and smarter.
MISSION
Delivering on the commitment of governments and industry to give new impetus innovation, fluidity of transport systems and resilience of supply chains.
To provide fertile ground for test benches, to create synergies between stakeholders, create new talent, shine and develop in all areas of national and international regions. Harnessing the full potential of new clusters and technologies of the new digital economy to bring them to the next level for the Maritime Sector.
THE MEMBERS OF THE IMC IC (2025):
Following numerous consultation and information activities, the founding members were quickly joined by a growing number of experts and organizations at the research of new knowledge and cutting-edge analysis on the development of
new international standards and technologies.

Governance
1: The General Assembly of Members:
The AGM is held in March of each year. An annual report on activities is presented.
The Annual Action Plan is discussed in accordance with the strategic directions adopted by the members.
2: The 2025 Board of Directors (BOD):
The IMC IC is administered according to the highest rules of governance of the
companies by a committed Board of Directors composed of passionate members,
reputable and experienced in the industry. The Board of Directors is today

3: The Advisory Committee:
The Advisory Committee is made up of the members of the IMC IC. It plays a decisive role in the governance system. It acts as a bridge between the Board of Directors and the Strategic Tables. Its mandate is to advise and collaborate in the general programming of activities.
4: The Strategic Tables:
A member of the Board of Directors chairs the strategic tables. They are composed of the Members of the IMC IC, external government partners, industry and academia.
A First Strategy Table: IMC’s Digital Twins
Work on digital twins began in June 2025. This Table will have as a test bed, the majestic Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence shipping corridor.
The Table is chaired by Alain Godard, project leader, with the collaboration of Marie-Anne Lambert.
